Grow mango, guava and citrus in containers on your terrace — and actually get fruit.

Why grafted matters
Grafted fruit plants fruit years earlier than seed-grown trees and stay true to the parent variety. For terraces, they also stay more compact.
Pot & soil
Use at least a 15-18 inch pot with drainage holes. Fill with loamy soil enriched with farmyard manure and a handful of bone meal.
Sun and water
Fruit needs 6-8 hours of full sun. Water deeply 2-3 times a week, more during flowering and fruit-set.
Feeding for fruit
Balanced NPK monthly, with extra potassium during flowering for sweeter, larger fruit.
