Preventing Leaf Drop in Newly Delivered Plants

Transit shock is normal

A live plant spends several days in a dark box. A little leaf drop or droop in the first 48 hours is a stress response, not damage.

The first 24 hours

Unbox immediately, place in bright indirect light (not direct sun), and let the root ball settle. Do not repot yet.

Watering after arrival

Check the soil. If dry, water lightly. Do not drown it — stressed roots cannot drink much.

Give it a week

Hold off on fertiliser for 7-10 days. Once you see new growth, resume your normal care routine.
