Best season to repot
The humid, mild monsoon is ideal for repotting — plants recover from root disturbance fast with minimal water stress.
Drainage first
Waterlogging is the #1 monsoon killer. Ensure every pot drains freely and raise pots off the floor on stands or bricks.
Hold the fertiliser
Reduce feeding during heavy rains; nutrients leach out quickly and excess feeding stresses waterlogged roots.
Fungus watch
Improve airflow and remove yellowing leaves promptly to prevent fungal spread in the damp weather.
